We have developed successful partnerships with more than 5000 farmers, constantly offering them innovative financing solutions tailored to their specific business.


Role Purpose

  • The Digital Transformation Director leads the design and execution of Agricover Credit’s transformation agenda. The role serves as a strategic orchestrator, aligning technology, business model innovation, and internal process efficiency and
  • The mission is to transform Agricover Credit IFN into a data-driven, efficient, automated, and scalable lender, fully integrated within the broader Agricover ecosystem—particularly with the digital wallet developed by Agricover Payments, which will serve as the customer interface of Agricover Credit, and with the Group CRM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the Digital Transformation Strategy 2025–2030 aligned with the Group’s ambition to build the leading agri-financial ecosystem in Romania.
  • Establish and lead a Transformation Project Team to drive and oversee all change initiatives.
  • Translate strategic goals into a portfolio of cross-functional digital initiatives — covering processes optimization/reengineering (e.g., credit origination), automation, data integration, and internal process efficiency.
  • Ensure all transformation initiatives are fully aligned with Group IT architecture, data governance standards, and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Ensure consistent prioritization, funding, and delivery governance across projects, with transparent performance dashboards for the CEOs and Board.
  • Redesign end-to-end lending processes to achieve shorter turnaround time (TAT), reduced manual workload, and enhanced control.
  • Drive automation and straight-through processing to enable seamless integration across front-office, risk, and back-office functions.
  • Optimize AI, analytics, and robotic process automation (RPA) to enhance credit scoring, fraud detection, and loan monitoring.
  • Data, Technology, and Ecosystem Integration
  • Identify technology and system requirements, evaluate solution options, and provide recommendations to ensure alignment with business needs, scalability, and Group architecture.
  • Build the data architecture connecting internal IFN systems with Agricover Group platforms (Distribution, ERP, CRM, and Holding data warehouse).
  • Promote data-driven decision-making in portfolio management, credit risk, and client segmentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Group cybersecurity, privacy, and regulatory standards (NBR, GDPR, EBA).
  • 5. Leadership and Change Management
  • Lead cross-functional teams of business, IT, and operations professionals to deliver transformation projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop digital capability within the organization through targeted training, coaching, and adoption programs.
  • Act as change ambassador for digital culture, fostering collaboration between Agricover Credit IFN, Distribution, and Holding teams.

  • System integration readiness with external platforms (wallet, Group data warehouse)
  • Data accuracy and integration with Group data warehouse
  • ROI and business impact of digital investments


Candidate Profile

Education & Experience:

  • University degree in Economics, IT, or Engineering; MBA or postgraduate in Digital Transformation preferred.
  • 12–15 years of experience in banking or financial services, with at least 5 years in digital transformation or innovation leadership roles.
  • Proven record in leading complex digital programs (core modernization, onboarding, analytics, CRM).


Functional Competencies

  • Expertise in credit process automation, loan origination systems, and API-driven ecosystems.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks (NBR, GDPR, cybersecurity).
  • Ability to evaluate and prioritize investments based on ROI and business impact.
  • Strong vendor management and project portfolio governance capabilities.
