Job Description
About the role
Tecadra Hotel is entering a new and exciting phase of development, preparing to operate under Accor as Tecadra Bucharest Handwritten Collection, part of Accor’s boutique hotel portfolio.
We are looking for an experienced Director of Operations to lead day-to-day hotel operations and support the transition from an independent property to an internationally branded environment.
This role requires a hands-on operational leader with strong people management skills and a solid understanding of international hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all hotel operational departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance). Ensure smooth daily operations and consistent service delivery. Implement and maintain operational procedures, service standards, and quality controls in line with Accor requirements. Lead, mentor, and support department heads and operational teams. Drive guest satisfaction and proactively manage operational challenges. Monitor operational KPIs and translate results into improvement actions. Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and internal policies. Collaborate closely with ownership and Accor representatives on operational priorities.
Qualifications
Profile & Experience
Minimum 7 years of operational experience in the hospitality industry. Previous experience in internationally branded hotels is a strong advantage. Solid understanding of hotel operations and service excellence. Proven leadership and team management skills. Ability to manage change and support hotel growth and brand integration. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Fluent in Romanian and English is required.
