Right now, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer for a multinational company producing sustainable packaging, based in Zărnești.

Requirements:

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field — ideally with a strong foundation in general electrotechnics.
• Solid understanding of electrical motors, power circuits, and high-power electrical stations.
• Knowledge of motor components (contactors, relays, circuit breakers, etc.) and how to assemble/start electrical motors.
• Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems and equipment maintenance.
• PC skills (Excel, Word); knowledge of SAP is a plus.
• A person who enjoys hands-on work and troubleshooting — someone who naturally likes to fix things, not just organize them.
• Teamwork, communication skills, and a proactive, solution-oriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and monitoring of electrical equipment, with a focus on electric motors, power circuits, and high-current systems.
• Planning and executing preventive maintenance and revision plans for electrical and automation systems.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical malfunctions in motors and associated circuits.
• Ensuring optimal performance and safety of electrical installations and protection systems.
• Applying the LOTOTO methodology and maintaining compliance with all electrical safety standards.
• Updating technical documentation – electrical diagrams, maintenance plans, and technical reports.
• Organizing maintenance activities, ensuring the availability of spare parts, and coordinating with other departments.
• Training internal/external teams on the proper and safe use of electrical equipment.
• Balancing field work (hands-on interventions) with office activities (planning, reporting, coordination).
