Role Summary:

Concept and design of cable and harness routing for Industrial equipment/Locomotive electrical System.

Responsibilities:

• Modifying/creating electrical sub-system diagrams
• Sizing high voltage cables
• Ensuring proper overload protection device selection and coordination
• Driving usage of validated high voltage connection systems
• Concept/design cable and harness routings
• Concept wiring clipping points, check interferences, bend radius violation, etc.
• Sustaining design reviews

Knowledge / Experience:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Teamcenter
• NX/Creo it's a plus (3D / 2D) - training will be provided

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Automotive Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience
• Minimum 3 years of machine electrical system integration experience
• Minimum 2 years of electrical schematic creation and harnessing experience
• Battery management experience is a big plus
• English needed medium to advanced speaking

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

• Experience with electrical schematic tools and Teamcenter PLM
• Experience auditing wiring harnesses in 3d models and on-machine
• Working Knowledge of CAN Communications and Datalink Network Diagrams
• Experience with machines utilizing greater than 60V
• Experience with electric machine components such as motors, power electronics, fuel cells, batteries, etc.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
