We are recruiting on behalf of a leading international EPC company specialised in utility-scale solar power plants, active across Romania and multiple markets globally. With a solid project pipeline and a fast-growing local team, they are currently building one of the largest photovoltaic parks in Romania.
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join the site execution team in Arad. You will support and supervise all electrical installation activities on-site, including DC systems, AC systems, MV/HV equipment, inverters, transformers, and grid connection works, working directly under the Site Manager and ensuring all electrical works are executed safely, on time, and to the highest technical standards.
Duration of collaboration: Project based
Location: Arad
Main Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installation works for DC, AC, MV/HV systems
• Coordinate installation of inverters, transformers, substations, switchgear, and grid connection works
• Ensure compliance with electrical drawings, IEC standards, OEM requirements, and grid operator regulations
• Oversee testing, commissioning, energization, and synchronization activities
• Coordinate subcontractors and monitor execution quality, productivity, and HSE compliance
• Support project planning, reporting, progress tracking, and final handover (PAC/FAC)
  

Candidate Profile
Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering
• 3–5+ years of experience in construction, industrial, or utility-scale solar projects
• Strong experience with MV/HV systems, substations, and power distribution
• Good knowledge of PV systems, inverters, transformers, and protections
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Good MS Office and AutoCAD reading skills

• Utility-scale solar project experience
• SCADA / PPC systems knowledge
• TSO / DSO grid compliance experience
• ANRE authorization
• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering
