We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to support strategic customer projects for a leading German client within the cable assembly and interconnect solutions industry. The successful candidate will act as the technical interface between the customer, engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams, ensuring the successful development, industrialization, and delivery of cable assembly products that meet customer requirements.This position requires approximately 50% of working time to be spent at customer and supplier locations in Germany, supporting project activities, technical discussions, product validation, and issue resolution.What you’ll do:Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned German customer projects, including approximately 50% travel and on-site presence in Germany;Analyze customer specifications, technical drawings, and electrical schematics to support product development and feasibility assessments;Lead the industrialization and smooth transition of cable assemblies and electromechanical products into serial production;Define and support electrical and functional testing requirements, ensuring full compliance with customer specifications;Investigate technical failures and coordinate root-cause analysis using structured methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa);Implement CAPAs and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize manufacturing processes, quality performance, and project timelines.What we’re looking for:Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field;Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, or electromechanical manufacturing (experience with international customers/German OEMs preferred);Technical Expertise: Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, understanding electrical testing methods, and working knowledge of quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, 8D).
