ABA - Work in Austria is a department of the Austrian Business Agency, which also encompasses the national investment promotion consultancy ABA - Invest in Austria and the nationwide film commission Location Austria. The Austrian Business Agency operates under the auspices of the Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs.

Requirements
Job description

• Definition of the electrical concept and electrical architecture of luminaires
• Specification of electrical requirements as well as selection and integration of suitable electronic components (e.g., LED modules, drivers, sensors, communication modules)
• Support of product development projects as an electrical engineering expert in interdisciplinary teams
• Commissioning of samples and prototypes, organization of tests and ensuring correct integration
• Creation of production-relevant documentation such as wiring diagrams and electrical settings
• Technical coordination with internal and external partners as well as 3rd-level support for quality issues
• Analysis of own and competitor products as well as knowledge exchange within the team

Responsibilities
Requirements

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, University) in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a comparable field
• Experience or strong interest in electrical/electronic systems, ideally in low-voltage technology
• Good understanding of the overall electromechanical system of a luminaire
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented work style
• Strong communication skills and a hands-on mentality
• Very good English skills, German is an advantage
