Responsibilities

• Develop low voltage power electronics designs for application Electronic Control Units in line with platform strategy
• Understand product design including simulations, component selection, schematic design. Layout capabilities, thermal concept, Design to Cost, and Design for Manufacturing
• Provide input into development of design justification/Worst Case Circuit Analysis to validate design selection
• Support design for functional safety and support Functional Safety engineer on all Electronic Control Unit related tasks including FTA & FMEDA
• Support release electrical hardware design outputs from ECAD tools according to processes, and facilitate customer releases
• Debug electrical hardware products in the lab through commissioning, testing, diagnosing, and inspection through development life cycle
• Analyze, link, and distribute customer requirements to the electrical hardware design and test team
• Follow HWE and interface processes according to the V Model

Knowledge/Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred)
• 3-5 years of experience in electronics hardware design and layout for automotive applications, preferably in powertrain or chassis.
• Experience performing worst case circuit analysis
• Understanding of automotive and functional safety development processes
• Excellent communication, teamwork
• Independent worker who takes the initiative
