Role overview

We are looking for an Email Marketing Specialist who will take full ownership of our email communication strategy and execution. The role focuses primarily on creating, optimizing, and scaling email campaigns across the entire user journey, supported by CRM and lifecycle automation. You will use CleverTap as the main platform for segmentation, orchestration, and performance tracking.

This position requires a mix of creativity, analytical thinking, and strong operational skills to deliver high-performing email programs that drive engagement and conversion.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, build, and execute email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, onboarding flows, and triggered communications.
• Create audience segments in CleverTap based on user behavior, engagement patterns, and demographic attributes.
• Run A/B and multivariate tests to improve subject lines, creative, delivery timing, and CTA performance.
• Track performance metrics such as open rate, CTR, conversion rate, deliverability, and unsubscribe patterns.
• Generate insights on user behavior and communicate recommendations for improving campaign results.
• Coordinate with CRM and lifecycle marketing efforts to ensure email strategy is aligned with broader retention goals.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with CleverTap is essential.
• Previous experience in Email Marketing or CRM Marketing, preferably in a digital or mobile product environment.
• Strong understanding of email best practices, segmentation, and automation workflows.
• Ability to analyze data, interpret performance reports, and identify optimization opportunities.
• Basic knowledge of HTML for email formatting is a plus.
• Excellent writing and communication skills, with attention to detail.
