About the Role
Evowise is looking for an experienced Email Marketing Specialist who can take ownership of both commercial and transactional email programs. You will plan, execute, and optimize campaigns that drive engagement, retention, and revenue. This role is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with strategy, creativity, and strong analytical instincts.
Key Responsibilities
Email Campaign Management
Plan, develop, and execute targeted email campaigns, including commercial offers, transactional communications, autoresponders, newsletters, lifecycle programs, events and webinars, product updates, affiliate messaging, and triggered flows.
Strategic Planning
Design and optimize comprehensive email strategies aligned with business goals to boost engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
Audience Segmentation
Build and maintain advanced segmentation frameworks to deliver personalized, relevant messages tailored to diverse audience profiles.
ESP Management
Manage and optimize campaigns in GreenArrow and other ESPs, ensuring consistent performance, compliance, and smooth delivery.
Performance Analysis
Monitor, analyze, and report on KPIs such as open rates, CTR, conversion rates, revenue, and deliverability. Use insights to improve campaign outcomes continuously.
Content and Design Collaboration
Work closely with design and content teams to create mobile-optimized, visually appealing, and on-brand email templates.
Automation and Lifecycle Marketing
Develop and maintain automation workflows, onboarding sequences, nurturing programs, and triggered campaigns that align with customer journeys.
Testing and Optimization
Lead A/B testing across subject lines, creatives, send times, and segments to maximize performance.
Compliance
Ensure all campaigns follow GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other relevant industry regulations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with marketing, product, sales, and customer success teams to ensure email initiatives support broader business goals and customer experience efforts.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience managing both commercial and transactional email programs
- Strong knowledge of multiple ESPs and email tools (Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, etc.)
- Deep experience with segmentation, personalization, and dynamic content
- Proven ability to create responsive, user friendly designs in collaboration with creative teams
- Strong understanding of deliverability, compliance, and email best practices
- Experience building automated workflows, drip sequences, and lifecycle programs
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with reporting tools like Google Analytics or ESP native dashboards (JIRA experience is a plus)
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple campaigns
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, cross functional environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email template edits
- Experience with CRM integrations and customer journey mapping
- Hands on experience with JIRA ticket management
