At Schaeffler Powertrain and Chassis we are increasing our team with an additional Software I/O PEC in the SW Controls team.

You will closely work with the Software Technical Project Manager, the Hardware Team, and the SW Project Architect, and you will also collaborate with engineers from various teams with a very diverse background: Basic Software / Industrialization / Tools / System / Hardware.

Your Key Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the development and configuration of all inputs and outputs of an ECU.
• You will manage all I/O activities starting from the Start Of Development of the project until start of production (or End Of Development).
• Define the I/O Config sheet in collaboration with HW and SW teams;
• Configure the entire I/O part (pins, peripherals, ATICs, ASICs, etc);
• Support the access of the ASW and the rest of BSW SW to the I/O pins - inuts and outputs;
• Perform updates/maintenance of all BSW drivers if needed, keep project up-to-date from BSW point of view
  participate in Final Test activities;
• Validate the I/O SW functionality.

Your Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field (Automation and Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunication, Informatics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics etc.);
• Previous work experience in a relevant field;
• The ability to pay attention to details, no matter how small;
• Ability to perfrom SW debugging;
• Adherence to quality in order to create error-free SW deliverables;
• Good analysis and communication skills;
• Good English language skills.
