We develop innovative and durable technical solutions that fulfill the needs of our local and international partners.As an Embedded Software Tester, you'll contribute to the verification and test activities for a Distributed Control Architecture (DCA) product in a safety-critical context for railway interlocking solutions. This is a great opportunity to work with highly reliable software in a multinational environment.A typical day might include the following:Specification of test cases based on requirements, including performance and boundary tests; Implementation of test cases for software-software and software-hardware integration tests; Test case design, test automation and test execution activities; Preparation of test campaigns with functional and non-regression tests; Detailed description of reproduction scenarios when identifying bugs; Evaluation of test outputs, including coverage, traceability and progress; Creation and maintenance of test documentation; Maintaining the test environment; Project monitoring activities, including monitoring non-conformities correction and test result reporting; Preparing hardware and software configurations for testing activities.To ensure success in this role, you need the following experience and skills:Studies in Computer Science or a similar technical domain;Basic knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP);Knowledge of computer networks and operating systems fundamentals;Basic knowledge of Linux;Commitment to the highest levels of quality;Knowledge of version control systems (Git, ClearCase, etc.);Experience with real-time or safety-critical systems;Intercultural communication, including the empathy to work in an international team;Team-working;Good problem solving and diagnostic skills;Solution oriented while being open to embrace new technologies;Highly proficient in spoken and written English.Only eligible candidates will be contacted in a maximum of 2 weeks.
