⭐What is the role about:

The Expert Automation Engineering contributes to the delivery of software development and automation services based on defined technical specifications. In this role, the job holder applies advanced analytical and automation skills to develop and implement functional solutions that meet the needs of the Borealis/Borouge International, working closely with senior engineers and team members. The role also involves developing source code, assembling software components, and performing testing and validation activities to ensure alignment with technical requirements and quality standards.

.✔Responsibilities:

• Actively contributes to the planning of automation solution development and implementation (including resource planning, robot type definition, and AI components).
• Actively contributes root‑cause analysis activities, contributes to incident resolution, and supports the initiation of the change process.
• Collaborates with process owners across Borealis/Borouge International to identify and analyze automation potential and defined automation needs, and provides technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Designs, develops, tests, and maintains automation solutions and related processes in alignment with defined technical specifications and standards.
• Analyses complex user requests and service issues, proposes appropriate solutions, contributes to resolving service failures, and supports the definition of related procedures
• Contributes to the continuous improvement of IT processes and automation services at team and department level, enhancing effectiveness and efficiency.
• Customizes and implements technical solutions and processes, ensuring reliable service delivery through knowledge sharing and application of best practices; participates in projects and provides technical input and implementation support.
• Provides technical guidance and consultation within Digital Solutions, supporting project managers, service managers, and business consultants on technical topics; contributes to reporting on defined KPIs, including analysis of technical issues and system failures.
• Supports the centralization and analysis of business requirements in cooperation with process stakeholders on the client side, including estimations and maintaining proper documentation.
• Delivers automation solutions including AI and low-code/no-code technologies, and supports architectural and configuration topics in alignment with senior experts or architects.

✔Requirements.

• Education: Master degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering.
• Experience or very good understanding in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and AI-driven automation in large-scale environments.
• Experience in building Intelligent Automation solutions using tools such as Blue Prism, Copilot Studio Agent, and Azure Open AI.
• IT and software development background, with proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Very good knowledge of business processes and procedures in the relevant domain, as well as awareness of current technical trends and solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle and software testing processes.
• Ability to support the development of internal rules and guidelines and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies.
• Good understanding of Information Security principles and practices.
• Good understanding of IT and OT systems.
• Openness and adaptability, with the ability to adjust to new tasks and situations and demonstrate flexibility in thinking and acting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a solid understanding of data analysis and IT solution specification.
• Good communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, including interaction with stakeholders.
• Ability to work and make decisions independently within defined responsibilities.
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
