Finance Business Partner

As a Finance Business Partner in our team, you'll be acting as the single point of contact for a department in eMAG. You will be working closely with your stakeholders and other colleagues in Finance in order to understand and correlate different business elements while driving business results to the next level.

What you'll have to do: 

  • Inventory Monitoring: Daily, weekly, and monthly tracking of inventory levels, including critical stocks and overstocks.
  • Creating periodic reports to assess inventory performance and evolution.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyzing inventory costs (storage costs, capital costs, and other operational expenses).
  • Calculating performance indicators such as inventory turnover rate, sales vs. inventory, and profit margins associated with products in stock.
  • Process Optimization: Identifying risks and opportunities in inventory management (e.g., obsolete inventory).
  • Recommending strategies to optimize inventory and reduce costs, taking into account market demand.
  • Days of Stock (DOS) Reduction: Developing and implementing strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce the Days of Stock (DOS) KPI, maintaining optimal product availability.
  • Systems and Collaboration: Developing and managing automated inventory monitoring tools, in collaboration with IT and Logistics departments.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to synchronize inventory levels according to business requirements.
  • Alignment with Company Strategy: Provide strategic support in making decisions related to inventory management and financial planning.
  • Prepare risk analyses associated with inventory decisions.

What makes you a good fit: 

  • University degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration (a master degree is an advantage).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, inventory management, or a similar role.
  • Excel knowledge and experience with ERP programs (SAP, Oracle) or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
  • Good organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
  • English at an advance level (written and oral).

  • Experience in related fields (retail, manufacturing, distribution).
