Ensure the sound financial management of HEKS/EPER Romania and its national projects in compliance with HEKS/EPER policies, donor requirements, and applicable national regulations.
The Finance Coordinator is responsible for accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, treasury management, and internal controls under the supervision of the Finance Director. S/he supports programme implementation by providing financial oversight, ensuring compliance with organizational and donor requirements, and serving as the main financial focal point.
Financial Planning and Budget Management: Ensure the preparation, monitoring, and control of the Country Office and project budgets, ensuring compliance with approved financial budget and donor requirements.
Accounting Management: Ensure accurate and compliant accounting management,
Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial reports and donor financial reports in accordance with HEKS/EPER policies and donor requirements.
Cashflow and Payment Management: Ensure effective cashflow planning, treasury management, and timely processing of payments to support programme implementation.
Financial Analysis and Continuous Improvement: Contribute to financial analysis, risk management, and the continuous improvement of financial processes and internal controls in collaboration with the Finance Director.

Education: mandatory university studies in the field of finance and accounting (bachelor's or master's degree)
Preferred qualifications: audit, financial management and controlling.
Professional experience: in financial management of humanitarian or commercial organizations for at least 4 years
Foreign languages: English B2/C1, French B2
Software: MsOffice, SAGA, financial management software
Specific skills: leadership and interpersonal relations, diplomacy, customer orientation and problem solving, written and verbal communication etiquette, attention to detail, numerical and calculation skills, planning and organizing time and information, team management, decision-making capacity, analysis and synthesis skills, driving license
