A Finance Intern supports financial operations by assisting with data entry, reconciliations, expense review, and report preparation, while learning month-end closing, budgeting, and financial analysis to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance, gaining hands-on experience with accounting software and supporting senior accountants.

Responsabilitati

Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations:
Assist with daily bookkeeping, including checking invoices to be processed (AP/AR).
Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
Help with month-end closing procedures such as MECA activities.
Controlling & Analysis
Assist in preparing variance analyses.
Support the creation of financial reports and dashboards for management.
Tax related activities
Invoice auditing; reviewing physical and digital invoices to ensure they contain the required elements.
Review of the current tax codes: to ensure we have all tax code needed to perform proper tax accounting
Process documentation: creating a checklist for future VAT verification to be used by the wider team
Reporting & Auditing
Follow-up on updating financial data in databases and maintain records.
Support in providing documentation for internal and external audits.
Administrative Support
Organize financial documents and maintain filing systems.
Assist with special projects as needed.

Alte informatii

Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and numerical aptitude.
Familiarity with accounting principles and financial concepts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
