About the role:

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our international Finance team. You will be part of our Romanian Finance team based in Cluj-Napoca and will report directly to one of our Finance Managers.

You will collaborate closely with Finance Directors, Finance & Control Managers, Senior Business Controllers and Business Leaders, playing a pivotal role in supporting our leadership team to execute the organisation's strategic vision for rapid expansion across Europe and, ultimately, into markets beyond Europe. We are looking for a highly motivated professional with a strong background in finance and a demonstrated passion for continuous development within the financial sector.

In this role, you’ll be focusing on insightful, ad hoc financial analysis that supports decision-making at all levels of the business. As our group continues to expand, you’ll also gain meaningful exposure to projects connected with our growth strategy, such as supporting due diligence for new opportunities.

Your work will range from consolidating financial and business information across regions, preparing tailored reports and dashboards, to collaborating on special projects that arise from our dynamic growth. This position offers a unique blend of rigorous financial work and the excitement of contributing to key strategic initiatives in an international, fast-paced environment.

What will you do

• Monitor and develop comprehensive financial models, providing both quantitative and qualitative insights into business unit performance.
• Analyse historical accounting records, management reports, financial forecasts, business plans, financial statements, annual reports, and other relevant documentation.
• Interpret and consolidate findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for management.
• Deliver management-focused insights, emphasising variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support internal finance reporting processes in collaboration with Senior Business Controllers and Finance & Control Managers.
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses and prepare presentations to assist decision-making for the management team, including the Group CFO and Finance Directors.
• Support financial due diligence review on potential new acquisitions, summarise key findings and suggest way forward including risks mitigation strategies.
• Analyze historical accounting and management reports, financial forecasts, business plans, financial statements, annual reports and other relevant information.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organisation.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in business economics, Accounting & Control or Finance, ideally with experience in a relevant domain (Deals, Finance, Financial Audit, …).
• 1-2 years of relevant experience as a financial analyst or a similar position.
• Good MS Office knowledge and excellent MS Office Excel capabilities; Power BI skills is a plus;
• You are knowledgeable in corporate finance aspects, accompanied by accounting skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• You are team-oriented with the ability to take ownership and work independently
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly, multi-task, set priorities and plan appropriately

• Expected travel abroad to support integration process post-closing, but also during DD phase if necessary.
• Nice to have -Familiarity with IFRS and local GAAPS for interpreting financial statements.
