ELIT Romania is looking for a new colleague in department of Finance. Reporting directly to the CFO, you would be responsible for the whole financial controlling agenda.

Job description:

• Own and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in full compliance with US GAAP;
• Responsible for the analysis of the monthly operating results, business allocation and analysis of the variances;
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition, accruals, reserves, and cost allocations across multiple entities and projects;
• Maintain and enforce accounting policies and chart of accounts aligned with US GAAP;
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and applicable local statutory;
• Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and work with external auditors, accountants, and advisors;
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities in partnership with the CFO;
• Analyze financial performance, variances, and trends and provide actionable insights to leadership;
• Identify inefficiencies and drive automation and process improvements across finance operations.

Requirements:

• University degree in Economics/Finance/Banks;
• Experience of minimum 1 year in financial analysis area;
• Excel knowledge – Pivot, Vlookup, Count, Concatenate, Power BI is an advantage;
• Knowledge of English (written & spoken) – medium level;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, including teamwork;
• Attention to detail;
• Good organizational skills;
• Perseverance and initiative, proactive attitude.
