On behalf of our Client, a leading Real Estate Company - owner of commercial properties, we are looking for a Financial Controller focused on financial reporting.The Financial Controller will be part of a team responsible mainly for preparing IFRS individual and consolidated financial statements, generating financial reports on a regular basis, financial planning and conducting financial analysis.Responsibilities:•Key role in the preparation of annual, as well as interim (semiannual and quarterly) IFRS financial statements both individual and consolidated;•Key role in the preparation of financial reports;•Ensure the collection, consolidation, and reconciliation of data received from subsidiaries, necessary for the preparation of consolidated financial statements and other reports;•Participate in the yearly audit process and any other similar projects, ensuring the prompt preparation of necessary information / documentation requested in this respect;•Take part in the development, update and implementation of the internal policies and procedures related to the financial and accounting activities;•Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports requested by the management;•Participate at other internal projects, including the ones related to the changes in regulations applicable or to the improvement of accounting / reporting software;•Keep himself / herself updated with the changes in financial and fiscal related legislation, ensuring implementation and monitoring compliance with them, as well as with other internal regulations;•Ensure effective communication within functional line and between various departments as well as with company’s subsidiaries, necessary in the financial reporting process.Requirements:•Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance;•Relevant experience in financial reporting / assurance / accounting advisory activities, with proven experience in preparing IFRS consolidated and individual financial statements; •Very good knowledge of statutory accounting regulation (MF Order nr. 1802/2014, updated);•MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) proficiency level;•Fluent in English;•Finalized or in progress ACCA, CECCAR or CAFR certifications – nice to have;•High level of ethics and integrity;•Very good analytical skills, attention to details, ability to spot data inconsistency;•Able to meet tight deadlines, proves high level of decision-making capability and ownership;•Energetic, driving results oriented;•Organized, resilient, able to show open and positive attitude even in ambiguous situations;•Independent, open for continuous learning;•Very good communication and interpersonal skills, team spirit.For additional details do not hesitate to contact Radu Vacarelu at [email protected] sending your personal data by electronic mail, through social networks or by applying within an online job platform, you provide your express and unequivocal agreement that these data to be processed by companies belonging to the Ascentor Group.
