Our Siemens business unit Motion Control (DI MC) is one of the world's leading providers of products, systems, solutions, and services in the field of Motion Control. This includes around 20,000 employees and the four business segments. With its global production sites, R&D, and service locations, MC is close to its customers and at home in a wide range of industries. At our factory network Siemens AG develops and manufactures electric motors for the global market. Our target customers are in the field of automation technology, in the automotive industry and in the field of intra-logistics.
We are planning to expand our Oradea plant into an even larger, modern, and more powerful Siemens Mechatronic Competence Center! This isn’t just an expansion, it is a true transformation. As part of this strategic business development, we will be building a brand-new, state-of-the-art manufacturing area in Oradea. This new space will integrate critical parts of our production and associated support functions, creating a unified, high-performance hub for mechatronic expertise within Siemens.
Oradea will become one of Siemens’ key competence centers, with new colleagues joining us, new technologies being implemented, and new capabilities strengthening our overall footprint.
We are looking for a Financial Controller to strengthen our Finance Team!
This will be your impact:

• Monthly closing and reporting on Finance related topics.
• Contributing to financial planning, budgeting, reporting and audits.
• Ensuring the reliability of information in a timely and substantiated manner for financial planning and budgeting including monthly Financial Forecast.
• Performing yearly cost calculation for Factory manufactured products.
• In-depth analysis of factory KPIs and factory cost centers.
• Interface with the other operational areas of the factory and with the finance team.
• Preparation of reports for factory management.
• Analyze, reconcile and bridge as well as drive productivity initiatives to bring cost reductions.
• Close cooperation and communication with Group partners around the globe.
• Data extraction from different tools/systems (e.g. SAP) and their consolidation and analysis as well as developing, automating and maintaining reporting templates.
• Monitoring and implementing internal controls at plant level, in accordance with corporate policies, to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and identify risks.
  

This is how you'll win us over:

• You are a skilled graduate and have at least 6 years of experience in controlling or accounting.
• Knowledge of SAP is mandatory as well as strong MS Excel skills.
• You recognize digitization as an opportunity and productivity driver, working with latest technology and being willing to learn about new software and hardware solutions like PowerBI.
• You are proficient in English at a business level.
• You have strong analytical skills, are detail-oriented, and enjoy working with large datasets.
• You are open-minded and eager to learn.
• You are a strong team player.
