About the Role

At CLA Romania, we are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Controller to coordinate the company’s operational financial processes — covering invoicing, collections, payments, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Issuing monthly invoices to clients and internal invoices
• Verifying accuracy of billing data
• Monitoring the invoicing cycle
• Allocating receipts to invoices
• Tracking client payments and following up on outstanding amounts
• Managing debt collection
• Maintaining client balance records
• Uploading supplier invoices into the platform
• Retrieving invoices from e-Invoice system
• Verifying accuracy of entered invoices
• Maintaining supplier records and payment obligations
• Processing payments to suppliers, salaries, and monthly taxes
• Executing payments on behalf of clients (where applicable)
• Ensuring timely execution of all payments
• Monitoring balances and transactions on client accounts
• Managing payments made on behalf of clients
• Maintaining records of client cash flows
• Consolidating daily payments and receipts
• Tracking issued and received invoices
• Uploading bank statements and financial documents
• Verifying automated entries and resolving discrepancies
• Collaborating with the external accounting team

Qualifications:

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in a similar financial operations role
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Good understanding of AR/AP processes and financial reporting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Organized, reliable, and able to work to strict deadlines
