Job Objective
The Fleet Recruiter (m/f/d) is responsible to source, screen, and select qualified candidates while ensuring a seamless recruitment and onboarding process in compliance with industry regulations. Additionally, to attract and retain top maritime talent through market research, effective marketing strategies, and professional candidate support.
Key Accountabilities
- Source and recruit qualified hospitality professionals for cruise and river vessels across multiple European countries.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle independently, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and embarkation preparations.
- Communicate directly with clients regarding crew requirements and candidate performance to optimize pre-selection processes.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of potential candidates, educational institutions, and business partners to secure future recruitment channels.
- Actively utilize social media and job platforms for candidate attraction, including proactive sourcing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with maritime and EU employment regulations.
- Maintain accurate and complete records within company software systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience in recruitment within hospitality and/or cruise industries.
- Professional background in the hospitality sector desired
- Strong knowledge of social media and online job advertising platforms.
- Solid understanding of European labor markets and employment practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and interviewing skills.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages such as German and/or French are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel within Europe for recruitment events.
