QA Test Automation Engineer (Java/Selenium)

We’re working with a global financial services organisation supporting critical post-trade and regulatory reporting platforms across Europe.

They’re currently looking for a QA Test Automation Engineer to join their delivery team, focusing on automated testing within a regulated environment.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be contributing to the quality assurance of enterprise-grade financial platforms, working within an established automation framework.

That includes:

• Developing and executing automated test cases using Java and Selenium
• Working with an existing automation framework (leveraging pre-built methods rather than building from scratch)
• Supporting regression, integration, and end-to-end testing cycles
• Collaborating with developers and business analysts to ensure test coverage aligns with regulatory requirements
• Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects across releases

What they’re looking for

• 3–5 years of experience in software testing / QA
• Hands-on experience with Java and Selenium for test automation
• Strong SQL skills (data validation, querying)
• Experience in the financial industry

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of European financial regulations (e.g. MiFIR, EMIR, SFTR)
• Experience in post-trade or regulatory reporting systems
• Background in large-scale financial services or enterprise organisations
