UI Developers (TypeScript and Angular)

Locations: Bucharest | Hybrid 6 days a month

The Opportunity

Working within our Software Engineering group, you will enhance and support new and existing products. As a UI Developer, you will participate in defining the technology and process strategy for Calastone IT, occasionally leading innovation or software design work with a focus on frontend web technology.

What You Will Get To Do:

• Develop new user-facing features at a high level of quality.
• Conduct peer reviews of code.
• Participate in daily Stand-Ups, change analysis sessions, and technical presentations.
• Provide input as necessary to tool and environment adoption guidance.,
• Continuously develop your business domain knowledge and comprehension of the Calastone business.
• Work closely with tech leads, engineers, testers, and auxiliary personnel.Asp.NET
• Take ownership of specific initiatives in innovation or technical debt.
• Design, document, and communicate system solutions ensuring a good balance of time, quality, cost and performance.
• Work with colleagues across the organisation, seeking advice and getting buy-in on proposals and designs.

What You Will Bring:

You will need to demonstrate a deep and thorough comprehension of:

• Typescript at a mature commercial level.
• Modern responsive SPA application development using Angular.
• Related technologies such as SASS/LESS.
• Angular unit testing patterns.
• Responsive UI design.
• Modern software development practices: agile, version control, code reviews, continuous integration
• Web API design and implementation
• It would be to your advantage to have some level of experience in one or more of the following:
• WCAG guidelines.
• The mutual funds industry or related financial experience.
• Commercial experience of C# and Asp.NET Web development
• Frontend application observability and instrumentation.
