Initial Contract Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Full Stack Developer to join an ongoing project, working on both back‑end and front‑end development. The role is fully remote and open to candidates based in Romania.

You will be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain back‑end services using Java
• Build and enhance user interfaces using React and TypeScript
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other developers
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security best practices
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process

Requirements

• Strong experience as a Full Stack Developer
• Proven hands‑on experience with:
• Java (back end)
• React and TypeScript (front end)
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Solid understanding of software development best practices
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong communication skills in an international team setup
• Availability to work as a freelancer

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in agile development environments
