Responsibilities

• Managing the complete software development process from conception to deployment and testing 
• Creating new and modifying existing software components
• Primary responsibility will be to design and develop applications running in the cloud using state of the art technologies
• Uses programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python
• Working with Node.js applications
• Utilizing frameworks like Express.js, Nest.js and React.js
• Executes and promotes development standards, including writing clean and reusable code, automated testing, and documentation.
• Works with Agile development methodologies.
• Effectively collaborate with team members to achieve a shared goal.
• Interact with users and stakeholders to define system requirements
• Use Jira for product planning and ticketing
• Assist with application security compliance and secure coding practices

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree required
• 5+ years of experience
• Excellent knowledge in Programming Languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python
• Knowledge of relational databases and bigdata 
• Experience working with Node.js applications
• Knowledge of Frameworks like Express.js and Nest.js 
• Experience in working with libraries such as React.js and React-Native
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
• Solid understanding of web security fundamentals.
• Experience with code management and version control (Github and Github Actions).
• Nice to have experience with Test Automation Tools.
