Role Description

We are expanding the Java Factory team within our company and are looking for a Full-Stack Java Developer to contribute to the development and evolution of enterprise applications used across the group the company is part of. This role is suitable for a developer with prior experience in application modernization, migration to newer technologies or architectures, and redesign initiatives.

You will work in an international set-up, collaborating with cross-functional and multicultural teams within a mixed delivery model, where responsibilities are distributed across multiple teams and organizations.

We are looking for someone who is autonomous, proactive, solution-oriented, and collaborative, who feels comfortable in such environments and is motivated to grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development technologies, including Java and related frameworks.
• Strong skills in Front-End Development, including experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Comprehensive understanding of Full-Stack Development and Software Development processes and methodologies.
• Experience in design and implementation of scalable systems, including familiarity with cloud environments and hybrid solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in digital transformation projects is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular or React
• Implement and integrate REST APIs
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Contribute to the modernization and evolution of existing applications
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to deliver solutions
• Participate in improving architecture, code quality and initiatives and optimization of working practices

Required Skills and Experience

We are looking for a balanced profile combining technical expertise and soft skills, able to contribute to an international and dynamic environment.

• Relevant experience as a Full-Stack Developer (min. 3 years)
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot (min. 3 years)
• Frontend experience with Angular or React (min. 1 years)
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum projects
• Technical university degree or equivalent practical experience
• English level intermediate to advanced, required for international collaboration
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of delivery
• Open and transparent communication in a hybrid work environment
• Proactive mindset and solution-oriented approach
• Critical thinking and initiative in proposing improvements

Location and Working Model

The role is open to candidates residing in Romania.

Being located in Bucharest is an advantage. Candidates based outside Bucharest may apply, provided they are available to travel to the Bucharest office when required.

The working model is hybrid, predominantly remote.
