Medicover Tech, established in 2010, is the internal software development organization of the Medicover Group, delivering business-critical healthcare and diagnostic systems across Europe. We build and maintain large-scale platforms used daily by clinics, hospitals, and laboratories, combining modern cloud-native technologies with legacy system modernization.

YOUR ROLE

As a Full Stack .NET Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and evolution of healthcare software systems with real impact. You will work across modern and legacy platforms, collaborating closely with product, business, and technical teams to deliver reliable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

*Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using modern .NET.

*Contribute to the modernization of legacy applications (.NET 4.8) towards newer architectures.

*Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Architects to shape technical solutions.

*Take ownership of features from implementation to production support.

*Investigate and resolve production issues, with an understanding of business impact.

*Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared engineering standards.

*Report progress and risks proactively to the Team Lead and Product Owner.

*Occasionally travel abroad (a few days every three months).

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

*Strong experience with C# and .NET (Core 8).

*Experience maintaining or modernizing .NET 4.8 legacy applications.

*Solid understanding of REST API design.

*Experience with MS SQL Server (queries, transactions, performance).

*Practical exposure to frontend technologies (Angular 12+ or React).

STRONG PLUS

*Docker and Kubernetes fundamentals.

*Microservices architecture and distributed systems.

*Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows).

*NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).

ENGINEERING MINDSET

*Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

*Understand performance, security, and reliability implications.

*Comfortable working in Agile, cross-functional teams.

*Proactive, ownership-driven, and quality-focused.

EXPERIENCE & SENIORITY

We are looking for developers who can work independently, take ownership of features, and contribute to technical discussions and decisions. Experience mentoring others and working in complex systems is a plus. (Seniority is evaluated during interviews, not just by years of experience.)
