About the Role

Zumzet Group is hiring an Oracle Functional Tester to support our client in delivering high-quality ERP solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end testing activities across Oracle-based financial and business processes, ensuring that solutions meet functional and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, manage, execute, and report on tests using appropriate and current testing tools and techniques.

• Deliver testing strategies, test plans, test cases, test reports, and quality metrics.

• Apply Functional Testing Tools knowledge to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Apply Testing Methodology best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

• Develop detailed test cases aligned with functional and business requirements.

• Execute test cases and document results accurately and thoroughly.

• Apply Business ERP Financial Process knowledge (RTR, OTC, PTP) to validate system behaviour.

• Execute business tests and validate end-to-end process flows in Oracle environments.

• Perform Regression Testing to ensure stability across system updates and patches.

• Perform Defect Tracking, monitor defect resolution, and validate fixes.

• Open and manage defect reports identifying issues discovered during testing cycles.

• Determine appropriate tools for Test Cases and Software Problem Reporting Databases.

• Prepare, coordinate, and deliver end-of-test final reports explaining test results and outcomes.

Required Skills

• Proven expertise in test planning, design, execution, and reporting.

• Strong knowledge of Functional Testing Tools and methodologies.

• Experience with Business ERP Financial Processes: Record-to-Report (RTR), Orderto-Cash (OTC), and Procure-to-Pay (PTP).

• Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP (e.g., Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud/Fusion).

• Proficiency in Test Case Development and Test Case Execution.

• Experience performing Regression Testing in complex system environments.

• Solid understanding of Defect Tracking tools and processes (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps).

• Ability to produce clear defect reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.

• Experience selecting and working with Software Problem Reporting Databases.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Nice to Have

• ISTQB certification or equivalent testing qualification.

• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP (Financials, SCM, HCM).

• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, UFT, Oracle OATS).

• Experience working in large-scale IT consulting environments.

• Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
