In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), supporting development, integration, support & maintenance and functional testing activities for a portfolio of approximately 26 business applications used across multiple countries.
Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Functional Tester within IBM Client Innovation Center you will be part of a Test Factory team providing functional and non-regression testing services for customer applications such as order management systems, logistics platforms, CRM solutions and e-commerce websites.
You will work closely with development and support teams to ensure application quality and stability.
Your Responsibilities Include

• Executing test cases with strong attention to detail.
• Writing, updating and maintaining test cases for supported applications.
• Creating and maintaining knowledge documentation.
• Reporting, tracking and managing defects using Jira.
• Retesting fixes and validating corrections.
• Analysing and estimating testing effort for new features and requirements.
• Acting as Team Lead back-up when required, including preparing data for test reports and conducting meetings with the client in French.
• Working with tools and technologies such as Squash, Jira, SQL and AS/400.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Fluent/advanced French (minimum B2) - used for client communication and meetings.
• 4+ years of experience in functional and non-regression testing, including test case execution, maintenance and documentation.
• Hands-on experience with Squash, Jira, SQL and AS/400.
• Proven ability to analyse requirements and estimate testing effort for new features.
• Experience in defect management (reporting, tracking, retesting fixes) using Jira.
• Ability to act as Team Lead back-up, including preparing test reports and coordinating with the client.
  

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• French language proficiency.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in executing, writing, and updating test cases, as well as creating knowledge documentation.
• Hands-on experience with Squash, SQL, and AS/400.
• Strong knowledge of defect reporting and tracking using Jira.
• Detail-oriented with a rigorous and quality-focused working style.
