Job Description
SolidStake is seeking a Gamification Specialist to design, implement, and optimize gamification initiatives that drive player engagement, retention, and revenue across casino and sportsbook products. Operating at the intersection of product, CRM, and operations, this role will transform business objectives into engaging player experiences through missions, tournaments, loyalty programs, challenges, reward loops, and personalized campaigns. The successful candidate will leverage data, player psychology, and gamification strategies to deliver measurable business impact while ensuring compliance and profitability.
What You’ll Do
Gamification Strategy & Design

• Own and manage the gamification roadmap aligned with key business KPIs, including retention, ARPU, player frequency, and churn reduction.
• Design and develop gamification mechanics such as:
• Missions and quests
• Daily challenges
• Streaks
• Levels and badges
• Leaderboards
• Tournaments
• Seasonal events
• Loyalty and reward loops
• Personalized offers
• Audit existing reward structures, including bonuses, free spins, cashback, points, and missions.
• Balance engagement impact with operational costs and risk considerations.
• Calculate bonus costs and ensure profitability of gamification initiatives.
  

Execution & Operations

• Configure and launch gamification campaigns and events using internal and third-party platforms.
• Coordinate delivery with Product, CRM, BI, Risk, Fraud, Customer Support, and Legal/Compliance teams.
• Maintain campaign calendars and ensure flawless execution, including segmentation, translations, QA processes, rules management, and launch checks.
  

Data-Driven Optimization

• Monitor campaign performance on a daily and weekly basis.
• Conduct A/B testing, cohort analysis, and funnel analysis to improve outcomes.
• Track and report on KPIs including:
• DAU/MAU
• D1/D7/D30 retention
• Reactivation
• Conversion rates
• GGR uplift
• Bonus costs
• RTP impact
• Segment engagement
• Prepare post-campaign reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
  

Player Segmentation & Personalization

• Create and maintain player segmentation strategies, including VIP tiers, high-potential players, reactivation segments, and recreational versus value players.
• Partner with CRM teams to align gamification initiatives with player lifecycle journeys, including onboarding, activation, retention, and win-back campaigns.
  

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure all gamification mechanics comply with local regulations and responsible gaming requirements.
• Collaborate with Risk and Fraud teams to prevent bonus abuse and maintain healthy operating margins.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience in gamification, CRM, retention, product operations, or lifecycle marketing.
• Experience within iGaming, gaming, fintech, or subscription-based businesses.
• iGaming experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of player psychology, engagement mechanics, and reward loops.
• Knowledge of progression systems, scarcity models, competition mechanics, and achievement frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and KPIs.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience working with BI and analytics tools is advantageous.
• High attention to detail, particularly around campaign configuration, QA, and operational execution.
• Experience using gamification and CRM platforms such as Optimove, Fast Track, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Smartico, Pragmatic Solutions CRM, or similar solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  

Nice to Have

• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Experience with A/B testing frameworks and experimentation platforms. Experience working with both casino and sportsbook gamification mechanics.
