We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our Accounting Department in Bucharest. This role requires hands-on end-to-end accounting experience and a proactive approach to managing daily operations, reporting, and financial controls in a global organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely booking of general accounting transactions in compliance with Group and local standards
• Prepare and post quarterly closing entries, and ensure proper account reconciliations and justifications
• Monitor and control bank reconciliation accounts, collaborating with Treasury and Business Units to resolve discrepancies
• Integrate and validate payroll data within SAP, ensuring compliance with legal and tax requirements
• Support internal control activities and contribute to continuous process improvements across accounting operations
• Cooperate with tax departments to ensure accurate and compliant tax reporting

Profile and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
• 2–3 years of professional experience in accounting or a related field
• Experience in a multinational or insurance environment is an asset
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and geographies
• Fluent in English (oral and written)
