Role description:
As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will work closely with experienced engineers in a supportive learning environment. You will further develop your technical foundation to apply mechanical engineering principles in real projects, using industry-standard tools and contributing to high-quality design deliverables across multidisciplinary teams. Your role will help you build proficiency in mechanical building systems such as HVAC, while progressively taking on more responsibilities in design, coordination, and documentation.
How You Will Contribute:
Under the supervision of experienced engineers, your role will include, but not be limited to:

• Apply engineering principles in the design of mechanical building systems including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC).
• Prepare drawing markups, engineering calculations, schedules, and other design documents as assigned.
• Build on existing proficiency in Revit and other mechanical design and calculation software.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Follow company standards, procedures, and design quality-check processes.
• Manage assigned tasks within agreed timelines and budget while working in a structured project environment.
• Apply safety-in-design principles ensuring system accessibility, maintainability, coordination, and buildability are integrated into your design decisions.
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in building services.
• Knowledge of mechanical building systems, including HVAC fundamentals.
• Good understanding of norms and standards related to HVAC.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new tools, systems, technical skills and ways of working.
• Demonstrates good planning, organization skills, curiosity, problem-solving ability, and analytical thinking.
• Interested in long-term professional growth within an engineering consultancy environment and actively continue to develop personally and technically through regular CPD training.
  

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in building services.
• Basic knowledge of Revit MEP.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical (building services) specialized software (Revit, HAP, Design Builder etc.).
• Candidate to show out-of-the box thinking in order to identify any opportunities for automation or innovation.
