Electrical Engineer – High Voltage/Grid Connections (Design & Execution Supervision)

One of our clients, an international renewable energy developer and investor focused on building and operating large-scale clean energy projects in Romania and Europe, is looking to strengthen its engineering team in Romania.

The company is currently developing several utility-scale photovoltaic projects (50 MW each) in the optimization phase, followed by additional projects of similar size. The selected candidate will play a key role in reviewing the technical design prepared by the EPC contractor and supervising the execution phase to ensure compliance with technical standards and project requirements.

What you will do:

• Review and verify technical designs for HV electrical systems, prepared by the EPC contractor
• Ensure compliance of engineering documentation with Romanian regulations/grid codes and project specifications
• Provide technical oversight during the construction and execution phases
• Monitor the implementation of electrical works for PV plants and substations
• Act as technical interface between the project owner and EPC contractor
• Support project optimization and technical decision-making during development and execution

What you should have:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Strong experience with High Voltage systems, substations, and electrical infrastructure
• Experience in design review and site supervision of electrical works
• ANRE authorization level 4A / 4B
• Background in renewable energy, power infrastructure, or oil & gas projects is welcome
• Good understanding of EPC project execution
