You contribute to our success by taking on the following tasks:

• Responsibility for the coordination of the technical discipline, leadership and management of the MPE (mechanical and piping engineering) RO team, especially with regard to resources, tasks, deadlines and costs, support of the project team with technical know-how and profound expertise
• Accountability for the quality of all piping and mechanical engineering deliverables prepared by the Romanian MPE team, including the review and verification of technical documentation, calculations and engineering outputs before their release to projects or external stakeholders.
• Represents the MPE Ro group in the Corporate MPE department activities, meetings, strategies and collaborate with the other departments to fulfill the overall Ro objectives
• Support of key account activities, quotation calculations and customer support
• Acquisition activities in coordination with Business unit manager
• Strong sense of responsibility and Leadership skills
• Strong problem and conflict solving skills
• Professional and disciplinary responsibility as well as management of own team
• Creation, review, updating and approval of documents
• Monitoring and participating in the identification of project risks and the development of risk reduction plans
• Moderation of project meetings as well as interface to the customer with regard to all technical matters
• Development of standards and the project-specific engineering manual in coordination with the client and internal departments
• Technical and soft skills development of MPE team
• Train employees and guide them towards performance and efficiency

Our requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering degree with minimum 10 years of engineering / design experience in related projects
• Pharmaceutical engineering experience will be an advantage
• In-depth technical and economic understanding of project processes and contexts (related to piping and mechanical discipline)
• Able to lead complex teams, coordination skills, soft skills
• Excellent communication skills both with the customer and with own colleagues and Management Team
• Team player, empathic
• Ability to motivate employees and teams
• Very good knowledge of English; German is an advantage
• High level of resilience in challenging situations and problems within the group or branch office
• Willingness to travel (in case needed, base location is still Romania)
