Your Responsibilities

• Leading and Developing an International Team: Provide professional and personal leadership to a diverse group of buyers, fostering their growth and ensuring team success.

• Designing and Implementing Procurement Strategy: Create and execute a forward-looking strategy for the acquisition of trade goods, aligning procurement activities with business objectives. You will actively contribute your own expertise in selected categories, ensuring best-in-class results through hands-on engagement.

• Ensuring Cost Optimization and Quality: Implement measures to optimize costs, maintain high quality standards, improve delivery reliability, and promote sustainable sourcing practices.

• Managing Supplier Relationships and Negotiations: Build, nurture, and

sustain strategic partnerships with suppliers, conducting high-level negotiations to secure favourable terms and strengthen business relationships.

• Analysing Market Trends: Monitor and interpret market developments, introducing innovative initiatives that enhance the company’s competitive edge. Your direct involvement in key categories will allow you to anticipate trends and set new standards in the market.

Your Profile

• We are seeking a visionary leader who combines a passion for innovation with strong analytical skills and a proven track record in procurement. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Educational Background: A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable discipline.

• Extensive Experience: At least 10 years of procurement experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.

• Expertise in B2B Trade: Demonstrated success in managing procurement within complex trading structures and international supply chains.

• Strategic and Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyse data, devise strategies, and proactively drive new ideas and initiatives.

• Communication and Negotiation: Outstanding interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills.

• International Team Management: Experience leading global teams and a strong sense of intercultural competence.

• Language Proficiency: Fluent English is required; additional languages, particularly German, are a plus.

• Willingness to Travel: Openness to frequent international travel.

• Technical Savvy: Familiarity with modern procurement and ERP systems such as SAP and COUPA is highly desirable.
