We are looking for an HR Manager to support the global team in the transition of HR processes in Romania. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar HR Manager role, with a focus on recruitment and employee administration, strong knowledge of the Romanian labor legislation, and experience in supervising a payroll team. This is a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension to a permanent position.
Responsibilities:
Talent & Performance Management
- Recruitment support and coordination of hiring activities
- Performance evaluation support and guidance for managers
- Consulting for managers and employees on topics related to policies, procedures, and team situations
HR Processes & Governance
- Understanding existing policies, procedures, and HR systems
- Conducting process walk-throughs and defining workflows, including inputs and outputs for all processes in scope together with relevant organizational representatives
- Defining governance and reporting mechanisms, as well as communication routines and protocols
- HR policies and procedures review and harmonization
HR Transition / Transfer Activities
- Pre-transfer activities, including preparation and distribution of communication and employee consultation materials and support for migration-related HR topics
- Collection and verification of employee data related to rights and obligations to be transferred, including preparation of templates and checklists
- Post-transfer activities, including compensation and benefits harmonization and equal pay review
- Onboarding communication and ongoing Q&A management
HR Operations Support
- Payroll coordination
- Local HR administrative activities
- Disciplinary procedures management and support
- Support in key people retention initiatives
