CBRE is seeking an experienced HSE / Compliance Analyst to join our QHSE Team on a Client account for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a critical role supporting the expansion of the Client's real estate portfolio following a client organisational realignment
The successful candidate will play a key role in integrating new locations into the existing HSE compliance framework, ensuring all sites meet both regulatory requirements and Client specific Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
Key Responsibilities
EHS Compliance Framework Development
- Research and interpret in-country HSE legal requirements across multiple territories for new locations
- Develop comprehensive, accurate, and actionable compliance framework for each location using our Clients IT system
- Align compliance tasks to Client EHS standards and EHS compliance strategy
- Engage with local Stakeholders to define compliance frequency, risk evaluation, and organisational responsibility
- Provide system support and advise to local operational team
Compliance Audits
- Conduct an internal Compliance Audit for all newly identified locations using an internal framework & template.
- Produce clear audit reports which will be issued to CBRE operational teams & Client stakeholders
- Log all identified gaps and non-conformances into the account risk registers in line with the existing Risk Management process
OHS Compliance Reporting Support
- Support the QHSE team in administrative tasks related to OHS compliance reporting
- Interrogate compliance data and proactively highlight areas of concern or errors
- Monitor and report on the overall plan, ensuring any barriers to completion are highlighted
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with CBRE operational teams and Client stakeholders for each location
- Communicate compliance requirements, critical risks, and non-conformances clearly and effectively to all stakeholder levels
- Build rapport and trust with internal and external teams across multiple geographies
Success Criteria
The project will be deemed successful upon completion of the following deliverables within the contract period:
- Compliance Framework Completion | Each newly identified location has a fully developed, accurate, and actionable compliance calendar in place
- Compliance Audit Completion | A Compliance Audit has been completed for newly identified location
Required Skills & Experience
Essential
- 3-5 years of experience in an HSE or Compliance role, ideally within a corporate real estate or facilities management environment
- Demonstrable knowledge of HSE compliance best practices
- Ability to research and interpret HSE legislation across multiple legal territories and jurisdictions
- Confident working with compliance management IT systems (experience with Gensuite Benchmark or similar platforms advantageous)
- Strong data management and reporting skills - ability to interrogate data sets, identify trends, and produce clear, concise reports
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex compliance requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Highly self-driven and organised, with the ability to independently manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
Desirable
- Experience conducting compliance audits or document reviews against structured audit templates
- Experience working across multi-site portfolios
- Background in corporate real estate, FM, or workplace environments
- Basic knowledge of International Standards
- ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety)
- ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)
- ISO 9001 (Quality Management)
- ISO 27001 (Information Security - awareness level)
