We are seeking an experienced HVAC Design Engineer to develop, coordinate, and optimize HVAC system designs for industrial and logistics buildings. The role focuses on technical design, system calculations, cross‑discipline coordination, and delivering efficient, high‑quality engineering solutions aligned with client requirements.

Job Description

• Create HVAC systems according to client requirements and expectations.

• Propose efficient solutions in terms of cost and energy consumption.

• Review project specifications to define design requirements.

• Meet with clients and consultants to clarify design needs.

• Develop technical designs and work plans for air, hot water, and smoke exhaust systems.

• Perform pressure drop and heat transfer calculations to ensure optimal system performance.

• Calculate airflow distribution and size ducts for air and water systems.

• Prepare aeraulic and hydraulic schematics for HVAC systems.

• Collaborate with other disciplines to resolve coordination issues and ensure seamless integration with electrical, sewage, and structural systems.

• Design layouts and technical placement for AHUs and layouts for hot and chilled water systems.

• Calculate required fresh air intake based on building activity and operating schedule.

• Perform accurate heating and cooling load calculations considering internal and external heat gains.

• Create, verify, and validate Material Approval Forms.

• Provide support during conception, design, and installation phases for issues related to HVAC design.

• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and mechanical design teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in building services or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an HVAC designer.

• Strong English speaking and writing skills.

• Knowledge of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and pressure drop calculations.

• Proficiency in HVAC system design, including duct sizing and schematic design.

• Ability to coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines and resolve integration challenges.

• Familiarity with AHUs, heat pumps, water‑cooled chillers, and cooling towers.

• Understanding of humidity and temperature control principles.

• Very good knowledge of fresh air requirements.

• Experience with heating load calculations (SR EN 12831) and cooling load calculations (SR EN ISO 52016).

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software.

• Excellent organizational, multitasking, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Experience designing HVAC systems for industrial and logistics buildings.
