Your Role And Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day application support for SAP S/4HANA MM users, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and minor enhancements.
Analyze issues related to procurement, inventory management, master data, and purchasing cycles, and apply standard SAP solutions or workarounds.
Collaborate with senior consultants to perform root-cause analysis, propose corrective actions, and support continuous improvement of SAP MM processes.
Support testing activities such as unit testing, regression testing, and UAT, ensuring that fixes and enhancements meet business requirements.
Maintain system documentation, update configuration trackers, and assist in preparing functional specifications for small change requests.
Monitor system integrations with related modules (SD, PP, FI, WM/EWM) and escalate cross-module issues when needed.
Assist in data validation, data uploads, and master data corrections using SAP tools or templates under guidance.
Communicate with users, gather basic requirements, and provide clear explanations or training on standard SAP functionalities.
Participate in AMS operational routines such as ticket triaging, SLA management, and weekly reporting.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Basic hands-on knowledge of SAP MM processes in S/4HANA, including procurement (PR/PO), goods receipt, invoice verification, and stock/valuation concepts.
Understanding of key configuration areas such as material types, purchasing groups, document types, pricing conditions, and release strategies (beginner level acceptable).
Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps, SAP GUI, and common MM-related transactions.
Ability to investigate standard SAP behavior, perform basic debugging steps (e.g., checking logs, analyzing error messages), and document findings.
Strong understanding of supply chain and procurement fundamentals from academic work, training, or internships.
Good problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn SAP best practices and AMS methodologies.
Basic experience working with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, JIRA) is an advantage.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with end users and senior consultants.
