We are looking for a Senior IT Auditor with French to join our IT Audit team in Bucharest. In this role, you will use both your IT and language skills to deliver high-quality IT audit work for local and international clients.

As a Senior IT Auditor with French, you will take ownership of key parts of IT audit engagements, work closely with clients, and support the development of junior colleagues, while continuing to deepen your technical and business expertise.

What will you actually do?

• Plan and execute IT audits: Perform IT audit procedures in line with KPMG methodology and relevant standards, often as part of the financial statement audit.
• Assess IT risks and controls: Evaluate IT environments, identify key risks, and test IT controls (entity-level, IT general controls, application controls).
• Communicate with clients: Discuss findings with client personnel, explain their impact, and help identify practical improvement opportunities.
• Work in French and English: Use your French and English to review documentation, participate in meetings, and prepare parts of the deliverables.
• Support the team and coach juniors: Guide junior team members on their tasks, review their work where appropriate, and share your knowledge with the team.

Who are you?

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Information Systems, Cybernetics, Information Technology or a related field, coupled with +3 years of experience in IT audit or a similar area (e.g. IT risk, internal audit, IT controls).
• Technical Skills: Understanding of IT environments and the ability to identify IT risks and related controls and to test these controls in practice.
• Languages: Very good French & English (spoken and written)
• Mindset & Behaviors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a multi-skilled team
  • Motivated to grow professionally and take on increasing responsibility
• Nice to have: Professional certifications (e.g. CISA, CRISC, ISO 27001) or ongoing studies or previous experience in a consulting firm / Big Four environment
