We are currently seeking a Team Leader to join our Audit Delivery Academy UK team in Bucharest, where we deliver high-quality audit support services to KPMG UK audit teams.

Who are you?
- Educational background:
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or Polytechnics, with a focus on accounting. - Professional experience:
3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or audit activities. - Technical knowledge:
Good understanding of Romanian Accounting Standards (RAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), as well as the Romanian business environment. - People leadership experience:
Prior experience in coordinating or managing teams. - Communication skills:
Excellent English and Romanian, written and spoken. Other European languages are a plus. - Digital skills:
Sound knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. - Professional certification:
ACCA, CAFR, or similar certifications (in progress or completed) are an advantage, but not mandatory. - Working style:
Self-motivated, result-oriented, and comfortable working in a collaborative, professional services environment. - Additional advantage:
Experience in a shared service center or delivery environment is considered a plus.
What will you actually do?
- Deliver audit support services in accordance with established audit methodologies, control frameworks, and quality standards.
- Support audit engagements end-to-end, including audit planning, fieldwork execution, documentation, and reporting, escalating complex issues when required.
- Review and ensure the quality and consistency of audit work performed by team members, identifying and addressing gaps as needed.
- Prepare and organize audit working papers, reports, and supporting documentation in line with firm and regulatory requirements.
- Support senior colleagues in stakeholder communication and in monitoring service delivery standards.
- Work within defined project plans to meet deadlines, service levels, and engagement objectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to audit delivery processes and efficiency.
- Allocate approximately 10% of time to supervising, guiding, and coaching less experienced colleagues, coordinating team activities and supporting ongoing capability development.
