About the role

AirportLabs is providing a complete suite of products that drives efficiency in aviation. Our products and solutions help major airports, airlines, and ground handlers worldwide solve the hardest operational problems, improve efficiency, and develop the value of their services.

We are looking for a Business Analyst who is motivated to understand how airport operations work in practice and translate complex workflows into clear, actionable product requirements.

This is a hands-on, product-oriented role, working at the intersection of business and engineering. You will collaborate closely with users, product managers, and development teams to clarify needs, structure requirements, and support solution design all the way to production.

If you are comfortable navigating ambiguity, asking the right questions, and driving clarity across teams, this role could be a strong fit.

Key facts to consider

• 1500 - 2700 GBP gross/per month, depending on role fit and experience level

• Contract based on PFA or SRL with our UK entity

Responsibilities

• Understand and document the problem to be solved
• Translate business requirements and needs into product solutions
• Coordinate with the product team members on the requirements clarification step and assist all the way to production release
• Contribute to the development and improvement of the team practices and of the business requirements processes

Qualifications & skills

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Romanian.
• Bachelor's degree or higher, ideally from a technical institution.
• Proficient in creating structured Requirements and Acceptance Criteria that minimize development rework and ensure technical alignment.
• Comfortable interviewing clients/people about their behavior and needs
• Capable of interpreting code to perform root cause analysis, validate data integrity, and optimize system integration workflows.
• Expertise in transforming ambiguous stakeholder input into structured, hierarchical documentation

Nice to have

• Certification in Business Analysis
• Proficiency in using Spanish and/or French and/or German is a plus
