About the role

As an IT Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in connecting business priorities with technology capabilities across the Medicover Group. Positioned at the intersection of strategy and execution, this role offers high visibility and the opportunity to influence transformational initiatives in a complex, international environment.

You will be part of Medicover Group IT and report to the IT Business Partner for the MCOV International Division, working in close partnership with the Group IT organization. In this role, you will actively contribute to shaping and delivering the Group IT strategy, while ensuring that business needs are addressed through scalable, future‑oriented technology solutions aligned with group standards.

By collaborating with senior business leaders and Group IT stakeholders, you will translate strategic objectives into impactful digital initiatives, deliver measurable business value, and support Medicover’s sustainable growth agenda.

What will you do?

IT Strategy & Digital Transformation

• Support the definition, governance, and execution of the Group IT strategy, ensuring consistent alignment with organizational priorities
• Identify and deploy innovative solutions such as automation, and AI
• Lead the digitalization of medical and administrative processes
• Translate business needs into projects and roadmaps
• Manage IT project portfolio – ensure IT projects and initiatives deliver business value

Medical Systems Management

• Oversee and optimize core healthcare systems
• Ensure interoperability across platforms and seamless data integration

IT Governance, Security & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Group IT governance and architecture policies and guidelines
• Contribute to the implementation of Group‑wide cybersecurity and information security policies
• Ensure the protection of sensitive patient and business data in line with applicable regulations (e.g. GDPR)
• Manage IT risks and proactively identify, mitigate, and prevent security incidents

Infrastructure & Operations

• Define the required level of IT services in line with business needs
• Establish and be accountable for IT Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Partner with Group IT Operations to ensure agreed service delivery and continuity

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, develop, and mentor IT teams (infrastructure, development, support, security)
• Set objectives and performance KPIs
• Play an active role in talent acquisition and retention

Vendor & Budget Management

• Manage strategic relationships with IT vendors and support contract negotiations
• Plan, monitor, and optimize the IT budget

User Support & Digital Experience

• Ensure effective IT support for medical and administrative staff
• Continuously improve digital user experience and system adoption

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

·       Work closely with Group IT Teams to harmonize technology solutions across Medicover Group

• Work closely with medical, operational, and executive teams
• Translate business and clinical needs into effective technology solutions

What we are looking for?

Skills & Competencies

• Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of business operating models
• Advanced IT knowledge; experience in healthcare or insurance is a strong advantage
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive‑level communication skills
• Ability to operate effectively in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments
• Fluent English (B2/C1 level – professional business communication)

Experience & Education

• Master’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in IT roles such as project management, IT architecture, business analysis, or IT delivery
• Proven experience working closely with senior business and executive stakeholders
• Experience leading initiatives focused on business process optimization and transformation
• Hands‑on experience with IT solution design, selection, development, and implementation (both applications and infrastructure)
• Experience in regulated or highly complex environments (e.g. healthcare, financial services) is a plus
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
