Job Summary
We are seeking a relationship-driven, highly motivated Inside Sales Representative to support and grow our Restaurant & Hospitality business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building strong professional relationships, influencing decisions, and competing to win through collaboration, consistency, and strong interpersonal skills rather than hard selling.
This is a quota-carrying role designed for someone energized by clear targets, accountability, and winning through influence, persistence, and relationship-building.
In this role, you will own a defined book of business and be responsible for driving new specifications, revenue growth, and dealer-supported sales across the Senneca portfolio. You will work closely with Outside Sales Representatives and restaurant dealer partners to generate demand, advance opportunities through the sales funnel, and convert specifications into booked revenue.
While primarily an inside sales position, this role includes meaningful in-person engagement through dealer meetings, customer visits, presentations, and industry events.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Quota Ownership
Carry and consistently achieve an annual revenue quota aligned to specification wins, dealer-supported sales, and territory growth
Manage pipeline activity from lead development through specification, bid support, and order conversion
Protect and convert specifications into awarded projects and revenue
Track performance metrics and adjust strategies to meet or exceed goals
Relationship & Territory Management
Build strong relationships with architects, designers, specifiers, restaurant dealers, corporate end users, and internal teams
Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned accounts
Support dealer partners with opportunity identification, product positioning, and bid-phase execution
Partner closely with Outside Sales Representatives to drive revenue growth
Sales Execution & Opportunity Development
Develop new opportunities through prospecting, inbound leads, dealer networks, referrals, and project databases
Deliver product presentations, dealer training, lunch-and-learns, and joint sales calls virtually and in person
Secure and manage product specifications within restaurant and hospitality projects
Present solutions confidently, overcome objections, and advance opportunities toward close
Market & Customer Intelligence
Monitor industry publications, project databases, and market trends to identify new opportunities
Gather customer and dealer feedback to improve strategy and product positioning
Maintain awareness of industry trends, building codes, and competitive offerings
Collaboration & Enablement
Partner with Marketing, Technical, Customer Success, and Outside Sales teams to deliver an excellent customer experience
Participate in trade shows, dealer events, and industry organizations
Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting, and reporting
Qualifications & Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience in quota-driven sales, specification sales, or relationship-based B2B sales
Dealer-focused Experience Strongly Preferred
Background in building materials, construction products, or architecture/design-related industries is a plus
Proven ability to manage a pipeline and achieve revenue goals
Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
Highly organized with strong follow-up and time management skills
Confident communication skills across phone, email, video, and in-person interactions
Ability to communicate technical information to diverse audiences
Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to win and support customer success
Familiarity with architectural drawings and construction documents preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%
