As an Intern Communications & Business Support Specialist in Timisoara, Romania you will join a diverse, passionate team, dedicated to powering the world’s payments ecosystem!
The purpose of the Intern Communications & Business Support:
ACI's Global Technology and Innovation (GTI) community is seeking a Communications and Business Support Intern to help us drive internal programs and communications throughout our global team. With a focus on excellence and innovation, in this role you will provide assistance in support of the Global Technology and Innovation (GTI) function within ACI Worldwide. This is a highly creative and dynamic role, with room to innovate and try new approaches. Your contributions will invoke collaboration across a wide audience, and partner with key business stakeholders within our community on communications initiatives and by providing communication and business support as needed. You will assist in the creation and maintenance of internal information and knowledge sharing websites, presentations, graphics, drafting internal communications, creating emails and internal social media posts. You will collaborate and align with internal leadership and stakeholders to gather requirements to generate excellent outcomes. You will also work with data, and create reports and dashboards.
A typical day at ACI for an Intern Communications & Business Support is:
- Drafts communication in the form of written emails, internal social media posts, PowerPoints, and other formats and aligns with stakeholders to finalize and publish communications to the internal GTI organization.
- Works under the direction of program stakeholders to drive results for low-complexity and small projects.
- Creates playbooks, documenting and coordinating CTO office and GTI department business processes.
- Calendar, schedule, and event coordination across the department including collaborating with stakeholders to ensure timely scheduled events and event announcements for the department.
- Assists in the organization and facilitation of internal, employee-focused events such as all-hands employee meetings within the Global Technology and Innovation business group for both in-person and virtual events.
- Organizes data and provides data trending for the purpose of informing communication and transparency initiatives within Global Technology and Innovation.
- Creates and maintains SharePoint websites for the GTI Business group, including applying website design and data best practices as well as creating or selecting graphics for use.
- Applies SharePoint and PowerBI skills to disseminate technical and department information, including working with data, data trending, and business unit information to create informed, transparent information flow within The Global Technology and Innovation business unit.
- Collaborates with other functions across the Global Technology and Innovation organization to gather business requirements for communications and dissemination of information internally.
- Creates surveys and reports on survey results and trends within the Global Technology and Innovation business group.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed to succeed in this role:
- 2–3 years of completed coursework and / or relevant experience in business support and communications support functions.
- relevant experience in business support and communications support functions.
- Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint, and other common business applications.
- Strong analytic and data-oriented skills and demonstrated ability to work with small to medium data sets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English language.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed for this role:
- Website design using tools such as SharePoint preferred.
- PowerBI and data analytics skills preferred.
- Some project management experience or knowledge.
- Demonstrates exceptional verbal and written communication and diplomacy skills as a team collaborator who must communicate and align with stakeholders and program contributors.
