We have an opportunity for an Intern Sales Data Analyst to join us at Honeywell, in Bucharest, were you will assist customers and support the Inside Sales team by analyzing sales data, customer behavior, and market trends.

The intern will become familiar with the Transnorm / IGS product portfolio and organizational structure and help convert raw data into actionable insights that enhance business decision-making, sales performance, and customer engagement processes.

This role is part of our University Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell

This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

The internship will last for 12 months.

Key responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and organize data from Salesforce (SFDC), Oracle, and other CRM/ERP systems.
  • Analyze data on sales performance, pipeline, conversions, and customer behavior.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly dashboards tracking key Inside Sales KPIs.
  • Support the EMEA and US teams in identifying high-potential accounts and market opportunities through data insights.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining Excel dashboards for sales management.
  • Contribute to quarterly business reviews by preparing customized reports and presentations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Inside Sales Representatives to understand their needs and translate them into analytical outputs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing trends and suggesting automation opportunities.
  • Update the existing contacts database 
  • Participate in team meetings to get familiar with the Transnorm / IGS business
  • Provide assistance to the Sales Team, upon request or by bringing to their attention business or account related details.
  • Have recurrent calls with the Inside Sales Team and Manager

Key skills and qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts), Powerpoint; experience with Oracle, Power BI or Tableau is a plus
  • Basic understanding of CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and ERP tools (SAP)
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken). Any other foreign language is considered a plus
  • Proactive thinker and team player
  • Structured and process minded, strong coaching and communication skills
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize and work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Able to provide effective, accurate and on point information. Persuasion abilities are a plus
  • Extreme attention to details and possess an excellent capacity to prioritize tasks and duties, with a great sense of urgency
  • Obsessed with customer and quality. Unbounded customer orientation and satisfaction mindset, while understanding and working within the company policies. Having both the company's and customer's interest in sight.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ease understanding the business plan and applying the knowledge, once presented and trained
  • Technically inclined would-be a plus in understanding the maintenance process and the steps involved
