We are looking for an experienced and motivated Internal Audit Leader to join our team.

Scope

The Internal Audit Lead will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization’s internal audit function. This role ensures that internal controls, risk management, and governance processes are effective and aligned with best practices. The successful candidate will lead a small audit team, perform independent reviews of operations and financial processes, and provide strategic insights to senior management and the Board.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Internal Audit Plan in line with organizational objectives.
• Lead and perform risk-based audits across departments and processes.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance.
• Identify process improvements and provide practical recommendations.
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports with findings and agreed actions.
• Supervise and mentor a small team of internal auditors to ensure quality work.
• Collaborate with management to ensure implementation of audit recommendations.
• Report regularly to the CEO and Board/Audit Committee on key audit results.
• Maintain coordination with external auditors and other assurance providers.
• Monitor regulatory and business changes to update audit strategies and address emerging risks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
• A master’s degree or additional certifications are an advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, or a related assurance role.
• Experience in leading audits or supervising small teams.
• Exposure to corporate governance, compliance, and risk management practices.
• Strong knowledge of internal auditing
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Proficiency in MicrosoftExcel; experience with Power BI or other data analytics tools is a strong plus.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Professional qualifications such as CAFR, CECCAR, CIA, ACCA, or CPA are not mandatory but will be supported if pursued.
