As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in delivering independent assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. You will contribute to audit engagements across various business areas, gaining exposure to diverse fields of expertise.

What you’ll have to do:

• Perform and document internal audit engagements across all areas of the financial institution, in line with the annual internal audit plan;
• Evaluate internal control and risk management systems to ensure effectiveness and adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements;
• Perform testing, data analysis and root-cause assessments to identify potential areas of exposure;
• Prepare practical, clear and concise audit recommendations to enhance processes, efficiency and governance;
• Monitor the implementation status of audit recommendations and follow-up with stakeholders;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal audit processes and methodologies and stay updated on regulatory changes.

How we’d like you to be:

• With university degree in finance/accounting or related fields;
• With minimum of 2 years’ experience in internal auditing or a relevant risk/control function within financial institutions/banking industry;
• With solid knowledge of international professional standards for internal auditing and of the national legal and regulatory framework applicable to financial institutions;
• With good understanding of banking activities and financial products;
• With business-level proficiency in spoken and written English;
• With proficiency in MS Office applications, good command of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions);
• With professional certifications such as CIA/CISA, are a plus;
• With an analytical mindset and the ability to identify control weaknesses and process improvements;
• With strong sense of integrity, confidentiality, and professional skepticism.
