We are looking for an experienced and internationally minded Internal Auditor to join our team and support audit activities across our global automotive operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing internal audits across multiple business functions and international locations, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Your Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and perform internal audits across all company departments, including Finance, Quality, HR, IT, Purchasing, Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations
• Conduct risk assessments and evaluate internal controls within an international automotive manufacturing environment
• Identify process weaknesses, compliance gaps, and operational risks, while developing practical and sustainable improvement recommendations
• Prepare professional audit reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management
• Coordinate audit schedules and maintain communication with internal stakeholders across global locations
• Monitor and follow up on the implementation of corrective actions and agreed improvement measures
• Support special investigations, compliance reviews, and cross-functional projects when required
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies, tools, and processes
• Advise management teams on best practices in governance, risk management, and internal controls

Your Profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a comparable field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Internal Audit or within an international audit/consulting firm
• Proven experience performing audits across multiple departments within global automotive companies
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes in automotive manufacturing environments
• Experience auditing areas such as Finance, Quality Management, Human Resources, IT, Purchasing, Production, Logistics, and Supply Chain
• Practical SAP experience, especially in FI, MM, SD, PP, and related modules, is highly desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex international business environments
• Professional communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with management and cross-functional teams worldwide
• High level of integrity, reliability, and accountability
• Willingness to travel internationally and work within globally planned audit assignments
• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken; German is considered an advantage

✈️ International travel requirement: approximately 40% of the working time

This role involves international travel to various Eberspächer Group locations across Europe, Asia, and North America for planned internal audit assignments and cross-functional audit activities. Outside travel periods, periodic on-site presence at our Oradea office is required several days per month as part of the hybrid working model.
